And a foine, foine top 'o th' mornin' to yez on this St. Paddy's
day.

Not only that, it is also the birthday of one Bomber and a trifecta
of Bomber Babes. Not too shabby now is it.

First off, the Bomber is one of the older crowd, but a neat guy
anyway; and that would be Richard ROBERTS ('49)

And now, the trio of Bomber Babes, all of whom I went to school
with back in the day. One was even in my graduating class. Leading
off is Patty BADGER from the class of '53, batting second is
Patricia LEIBEL from The Class of '54 and in the clean-up position
is Sharon TEMPLEMAN of the class of '55. Not bad at all. I'm only
going to say nice things about them because, let's face it, I fear
the wrath of their husbands (nice guys one and all).

So, here is the ritual tip of the ol' propeller beanie and a very
hearty "Happy Birthday!" cheer for the above mentioned quartet.

-Bob Carlson, aka Mike CLOWES ('54) ~ Mount Angel, OR where we
breathlessly await news from "Musher Central" on either the
results of the dog race or whose bracket are they in. Nice
to see the Eagles made it to the dance along with Gonzaga.

Pretty as always... said they weren't running together this year,
but they sure seem to be...

Re: Love on the Iditarod trail...

Anna Berington/#39 said she wasn't worried about complications of
having a boyfriend (Charley Benja/#35) on the trail. She pointed
out that she and Bejna wouldn't be the only couple headed to Nome.
They join husband-wife mushers Allen Moore/#57 and three-time
runner-up Aliy Zirkle/#32, 2011 champion John Baker/#78 and
Katherine Keith/#79 as well as twin sister Kristy Berington/#11 and
her boyfriend, Paul Gebhardt/#28.
