Bill's parents always put up with my quirks!!! One of my favorite memories was Bill's father taking the two of us on a great summer vacation into BC and Alberta, Canada. Banff Chairlift, Jasper, Lake Louise "The Famed Headwaters of the mighty Columbia River" to name a few, of the great places we visited!!! God Speed, Bill. Your Friend, Gus. -Gus KEENEY ('57) *************************************************************** *************************************************************** >>From: Margaret EHRIG Dunn ('61) Judy WILLOX ('61) Pat DORISS Trimble ('65) Betti AVANT ('69) Re: All Bomber Lunch ~ aka Patti's All Bomber Lunch To: All Richland/Col-Hi Bombers No matter when you attended Richland/Col-Hi school; or even if you left before graduation, you are welcome! They seem pretty harmless when you look at what's going on today. All the young women I see in the hair salons today are absolutely covered in tattoos. Not just the black ones but they look like they have the comics all over their bodies. I see them in sun dresses in the summer and their backs, arms, legs, necks, etc. are covered. But what really freaks me out today are what the kids are doing to their ears. Have you seen that? They are creating huge holes in their earlobes and putting things in those lobes (I guess) to keep them from growing back. What's with that????? What happens when these kids 'grow up' and look for jobs, have kids of their own, etc.? Makes duck tail haircuts, skinny belts, jeans slung somewhat low look pretty tame. -Shirley SHERWOOD Milani ('62) *************************************************************** *************************************************************** >>From: Maren SMYTH ('63 & '64) Re: My Laptop problems MyComputerWorks.com (MCW) worked on my compter for several houors today (5/6/15) to try to correct some problems I've been having. What the tech told me is that my "spin up" hard drive is getting ready to crash and that I should replace it "now" with a new 500 GB Solid State Hard drive. I'll need to order the new hard drive and wait for a CD with the Win7 operating system to come from MCW... use the computer sparingly in the meantime... can I even do that? MCW will help me get the new solid state hard drive and Win7 operating system installed and they'll also help REinstall all the software... UGH... MIGHT miss a few Sandstorms in the meantime. -Maren SMYTH ('63 & '64) ~ Gretna, LA *************************************************************** *************************************************************** >>From: Corey MORRIS ('66) It's been a delight to discover the Sandstorm!
