Re: BRATTON wins gold at World University Games ~ 7/5/15 Herald

"Former Richland High School swimmer Lisa BRATTON has
a lovely golden prize to cherish from the World
University Games in Gwangju, South Korea.

The incoming Texas A&M sophomore won the women's 200-
meter backstroke final Sunday at the Nambu University
      International Aquatics Center."

Re: USA vs Japan Women's World Cup title ~ 7/5/15 Herald

"VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - Carli Lloyd lives for
the big moment. She had her biggest on Sunday night -
and gave the United States its record third Women's
      World Cup title.

Lloyd scored three times as the U.S. jumped to a four-
goal lead in the first 16 minutes, and the Americans
overwhelmed defending champion Japan 5-2 for the team's
first World Cup championship since 1999.

Hope SOLO ('99) won her second straight Golden Glove as
      top goalkeeper of the tournament."
