Mr. Papas was also a mentor to me as well, and I was honored
by being allowed to be the band librarian in my senior year.
Music has always been a major part of my life, and I played
the clarinet on into my first years of college before it became
apparent I'd rather play music than study. Being part of the
concert band, that played for the Rafael Mendez concert, was a
great experience and a highlight of my high school music
experience. Thank you for bringing back good memories.

Re: Joan CAMPBELL Hinkle ('57-RIP)

Thanks all for support of my sister's passing last Friday. I was
touched by attendance at the funeral by 3 of the best guys ever
from the Class of "63 - John DALE, Perry MOORE and Tony SHARPE.
Thanks guys. My wife Marilyn has been in the hospital since
Monday night but she may be released soon.

Re: Fun time

Gregor, Just a note of thanks for the wonderful weekend you and
your staff planned. Everybody had so much fun... we wish you
could have a reunion every year. I am an alumni of The Culinary
Institute of America and I can tell you, the dinner and service
was excellent.

Much Thanks.

To: Gregor HANSON ('65) and the '65 Reunion Committee

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for putting on
what has to be the best 50 Year Class Reunion ever!! I can't
even imagine the amount of work and planning that went into what
certainly was a fantastic event. I so much appreciate all your
time and effort. I had such a wonderful time connecting with old
friends and sharing my high school memories with classmates and
my husband who was incredibly impressed with the school. I was
so glad we had a chance to tour the high school. It was
wonderful to see all that has been done.

Anyway, I could go on and on but suffice it to say - Job Well
Done! I and many, many others are very grateful for all you did.

Thank you!

Re: hey there

Hello Greg,

This is way overdue but I want to thank you and I hope you will
pass along to everyone who helped with this amazing Reunion. I
have never gone to anything in my young life that exceeded my
expectations like the events of last weekend. I can only imagine
what it took to get the word out to a class of our size and get
the results you got. Nancy told me of a young lady who spent an
entire year calling literally everyone - sorting through what
had to be hundreds of similar names to get to the Bombers of
'65. who was that? Not surprisingly, I immediately forgot. And
everything you planned was perfect for allowing everyone to
pursue what they hoped to experience. I know you have never
stopped making sure our class stayed together and in touch as
much as possible for all of these 50 years. We have all had long
and varied lives, experiences and relationships since 1965. What
we all shared in Richland I have come to know, was and is
incredibly special. Not everyone, by a long shot, had the kind
of environment and totality of really great kids and parents and
even teachers during that time in our lives, as we did. What you
guys did for all of us with this reunion in particular was
exactly what was needed to make sure we never forget and never
lose that sense of friendship and joy we all had in our own
unique ways. So, thank you, Greg, and everyone on the committee.

You are appreciated by us all, of that I am certain.
