Some years back, maybe 10, work took me back to San Antonio, home of Fort Sam Houston, and venue for virtually all Army medical training. I spent 10 lovely weeks there myself in the summer of 1968. In the SA airport 10 years ago, I had a brief conversation with a young woman who had just finished her AIT (Advanced Individual Training) as a "Combat Medic," she proudly stated. So in addition to flying helicopters, women are/were already serving as medics. They're probably doing a bunch of things they weren't doing nearly 50 years ago. Things change. Bravo. Best to all -Joe FORD ('63) ************************************************************* ************************************************************* >>From: David RIVERS ('65) Re: luck a the draw Older brothers can be a gift or a curse... if they turn out good... their younger famblie members have a little smoother ride... If the older ones turn out bad... those coming next gotta work through the older one's "rep"... today's b-day Bomber gotta good one to precede him and turned out to be a really cool guy on his own...
