Re: Fireworks video

My apologies! Well schucks... it turns out the Youtube site is
"AnnErvin 6 4 17" We tried it several times and it worked for
us. The spacing of the date is part of the address and needs to
be entered as shown. [When I finally found it, this is the link: -Maren]

The lady who did the video was not one of my crew. She walked up
took the video and left. Someone else in the pyro world found
the video and told us about it. But they got the date wrong. I
did not catch it and that is my fault. Sorry bout that.

I don't know what the problem is with access to Jackie's blog
of our travels, she has had that address for years. Here it is
direct from Jackie's computer. We both tried it and got right

This blog goes back about 15 years with details of our many

Unfortunately Travelpod is closing down on the 17 of June.

They did provide a way to copy the whole file so Jackie can re-
open our travel blog elsewhere.

Today is Thursday the 8th. We are in SW Oregon attending to a
bit of my business. The business part of the trip being finished
we are driving up to Crater Lake for some photography, weather
allowing. Much of that National Park is still closed from winter
snows. One entrance is open and so we will make the trip up the

My Blazer has all wheel drive and I have a new set of high
traction all weather tires. They were great in a snow storm in
northern MT. So we are off to see what can be seen.

One last item: I have a number of good starts of American Black
Walnut trees compliments of a family of squirrels.

The walnut tree in my back yard is about 30 years old and is
roughly 70 feet tall and 60 feet from side to side. On the west
side of the property it shades a quarter of an acre. The first
night I spent in the house after buying it, lightning hit that
tree in a huge explosion waking up the entire neighborhood at 3
AM. Despite that, the last couple of years we estimate 800 to
1000 walnuts on this giant tree with a dozen or more squirrels
feasting on them.

I am in the midst of doing some landscape cleanup. So....
IF...there is some interest in these trees I would dig them up
and plant them in buckets. My thought is they would be available
to anyone who makes a donation to the scholarship fund. Say $20
or more?

If there is some interest in these I would want to be sure they
are growing and healthy after digging them up. There may be as
many as 20. They would be available to plant next spring. I
would also have a few healthy holly trees.

Friday is Jackie's birthday so the day is hers to command.

I hope the above clears things up and give's access to the blog
to interested parties.

I've been enjoying the Bombers' name, bomb mascot and mushroom
cloud emblem discussions. They have been very civil, especially
when compared to other forums I've read. I appreciate those of
you who shared the history of the school and the names of its
athletic teams. I understand that the dialog can't help but
impinge on political views, but I, for one, do not mind. Thanks
to all who have contributed on the subject (and may in the
future, if possible) to the Alumni Sandstorm.
