But one thing puzzles me. Marie RUPPERT Hartman ('63) mentioned that DST was abolished during the Reagan administration. I don't recall that happening. I do remember there was serious discussion about doing so, but "Star Wars" things (not the movie) got in the way. Re: Birthday On a happier note, there is a Bomber Babe having a birthday today. Knew her from a distance back then. Since we both joined Club 40, I've gotten to know her a lot better. To say nothing of the biker dude ('57) she married. A tip of the ol' propeller beanie and a "Happy Birthday!" to Dona McCLEARY ('54) on this glorious occasion. It will go unsaid that Larry will take her from the "wilds" of Red Mountain to somewhere better than the Hasty Freeze in Benton City for dinner tonight. -Bob Carlson, aka Mike CLOWES ('54) ~ Mount Angel, OR where the city has finally sent the street sweeper around the neighborhood. They will be back as all the leaves have not fallen. ************************************************************* ************************************************************* >>From: Harvey CHAPMAN and Sally FOLEY ('56) To: Dan HAGGARD ('57) Happy Birthday yesterday Danny Boy!!!
