Charles Manson is finally dead. I sure wouldn't want to be
in his shoes now!

Re: Rambling thoughts

In yesterday's post our Sandstorm Barrister said, "... my
mind has never been one to hold a single train of thought for
very long at one time so if I have rambled forgive me..."

I got the same problem, my Sandstorm posts tend to ramble on,
but as I am composing them, my mind branches off running into
a lot of other directions which in turn form new branches of
thought, and so on. If I were to write everything I think of
down I would end up writing a tome. I think I have figured it
out, it is not ADD or ADHD, it is Bomber Attention Thought
Chain Reaction Process, or BATCRP; pronounced "bat-chirp."
[My two cents: I thought it was pronounced Bat-Crap.
	 -Maren]
Maybe we should do a study and maybe even get a Nobel prize
for coming up with it. After all, we who edit and post on the
Sandstorm are all Time Magazine's 2006 Person of the year.
Now that is something to put on your resume!!!
Don't believe me, look it up:

-Dennis HAMMER ('64) ~ Now how did I start with rambling and
end with Time's Person of the Year??? Must be one small
	example of BATCRP.

Re: Ohhhhhhhhh

the buzzin' of the bees in the lollipop trees and the sodee
water fountain; where the lemonade springs and the blue bird
sings in the big rock candy mountains... Hi there buckaroos
this is your old pal Burt Wells... (I should be careful
because those kids from the Uncle Jimmy Clubhouse, some of
which still have their membership card and Hi-Spot card in
their (his) wallet can get a little competitive)... tho I
will say I communicated with Burt for several years up to his
passing a few years back... I remember when Burt sat on a
flag pole in the Uptown... I must say those were tame times
compared to how things have unfolded over the years...
Listening to the radio this afternoon "Let's spend the night
together" came on and I remember how it was banned in many
large cities... dunno about Richland as I was in Vietnam when
that song came out I think... I remember clearly, however,
the Beach Boys having to take "Wouldn't it be nice" off the
shelves and redub "stay" for the word "sleep" and of course
there's Big Bad John who started out as a "helluvaman" and
ended up a "big, big man"... yes times have changed
drastically... In fact, the husband of today's Bomber-babe
was a prime example when he had to be on a job about the time
of the grageashun ceremony and was not able to get his
diploma a day or two early... I guess he finally got it, but
it wasn't as easy as HEIDLEBAUGH ('65) and me staggering in
the waiting room yelling "Let's have a Heidelberg beer right
now... ."... so now we have the diploma boy'z much better
half... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Sharon GRIFFIN ('65) on your special
day, November 18, 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
