Brother Tom ('53-RIP) was a good example... Tom had some problems, maybe a lot of discipline problems then, and I remember years later Tom telling me that Bill sat him down and had a long talk with him about responsibility, etc. going into the high school the next term. Tom said it changed his life. I have to admit that I didn't see much change at home, he still ruled the roost, and kicked my ass when ever he felt he needed to, but I don't believe he ever had a problem, discipline that is, in high school... maybe with the exception of Spanish with Ms. Colliton, where she gave him the choice of dropping from the class or flunking... he did the wise thing... Bill Dunton was a class act, and maybe because he wasn't that much older than we were, (we were in that first class at Carmichael), he understood the wild swings of hormones. Bill and his wife were a prime example of the quality of teaching we had in those days... -Jim McKEOWN ('53) ~ from sunny Sacramento ************************************************************* ************************************************************* >>From: Jim "Pitts" ARMSTRONG ('63) To: John ALLEN ('66) How about when it snows?
