Re: Norway Iditarod

I guess you showed "em" Dallas!! Dallas Seavey withdrew from the
Alaska Iditarod this year when a substance was found in his dogs
systems, that was NOT supposed to be there. I believe a doctor
said that Dallas had been cleared -- he decided to withdraw
and (maybe thumb his nose a little at the judges) head for the
Norway version of the Iditarod. Atta boy Dallas, hope you are
back, with your dad, Mitch, in the race in Alaska next year
again. just heard that he won the Norway version of the

Responded to Pat with this:
What was in Dallas' dogs' systems was Tramadol...
NOT allowed.... independent doctor studied all
data and concluded that Dallas could NOT have
administered due to the amount of Tramadol in the
system at the time of testing... something like
test at 6 hours after the end of the race and that
stuff only stays in the system for 2 hours... The
Iditarod Trail Committee (ITC) knew all that and
initially did not even identify Dallas.. They were
NOT timely in advising the public and pretty much
left Dallas hanging and left it up to him to prove
	his innocence.
All that is why he withdrew from the Iditarod...
and then entered Norway's answer to the Iditarod.
which started on the 9th... it's not over yet, but
last I heard, Dallas was in third place....
ITC needs to be re-vamped... needs new
leadership... They should not have treated one of
the best mushers IN THE WORLD like a criminal with
	no proof.
		Bomber cheers, Maren

Re: Dallas Seavey Update Norway's Iditarod (Finnmarksløpet)

IF I'm reading the Finnmarksløpet website correctly, Dallas is
in third place.
