I've been trying to send photos of Moose at my back door and my
little buddy Squirrel eating on the deck, but I keep getting the
message that they can't be sent unless the iMessage is clicked.
Gosh, I've been sending them to others so I don't know what is
up with that. (Also, couldn't find a place to turn iMessage on.
It is an iPhone 8 and I don't use hardly any of the "apps". Big
waste of money.) Maybe Keri can help me when I go into Anchorage
for the weekend.

[OK.. I had Em send everything to my cell phone. I
took them from there and sent to Sandstorm. I
could see the .mov vile on my phone (two moose
kinda running away), but it doesn't show when I
just try to click it. we'll see if anybody else
has better luck than I did. -Maren]

Thank you, Maren for the daily reports on the Last Great Race!
Have enjoyed keeping track of some of the racers. I was
fortunate to get to see a live video of Lynwood Fiedler's
arrival into Nome. Our families have been good friends for many
years. He finished 10th. They keep 70 dogs and pick the most
promising each year. I can't even imagine that many dogs to take
care of, feed, train and all that! It is a full time job.

Sale of the property up here is taking much longer than I/we
thought it would. The VA appraiser was here Tues so it may be
another 2 - 3 weeks. I met the buyer last Sunday when he brought
some things to the garage. I am more than ready to be back
home. I wanted to stay until I have the check in my hot little
hand but may not wait. I have snow on the yard while everyone
down there has flowers coming up! "Breakup" is going on and
everything is slushy. I'm lucky to be able to get out of my
carport and up the driveway. (I bought Nokian tires and they
are good.) I took my Ford Taurus through a car wash and wax
last Saturday and it looked real nice for a few days!

Staying here these past 5 months has been a real blessing. Time
to let go and happy to do it now. Lots of visiting with family
and old friends has been lovely. I was thinking I want to come
back in June to attend the Eklutna Native Potlatch to which we
have been invited. But I'm just not sure I want to travel again
that soon!!

Take care, all, and enjoy your Spring wherever you may be.

Well, inna morning (today) I'll be winging my way to Richland

the king of the ol' ad-lib... I've always enjoyed his spur of
the moment changes in script on TV shows and now I getta watch
it for two nights... I hope to see lotsa Bombers... I will not
be wearing my new Bombers Champions shirt till Saturday as

Re: Shot clock?

So, watching the killer Gonzaga vs Florida State game tonight
made me wish I had someone to ask this question. So, fellow
Sandstormers - you are it!

Was there a shot clock in high school basketball back in the
Dawald days? I can't imagine there was - given the way he loved
to play the stall.

Whoever remembers, please advise!

Thanks,
-Lynn-Marie HATCHER Peashka ('68)
