Re: Bomber death

I have the sad duty to report the death of a very talented
member of the class of 55. Her name was Laura Dean KIRBY
Armstrong. She was a talented writer and artist and she will
be missed by all. Most everyone will remember her as the
petite song leader during her time at Columbia High.

Re: Shot clock

To: Lynn-Marie HATCHER Peashka ('68)

The 45 second shot clock was introduced by the NCAA for men's
game in 1985-'86, reducing it to 35 seconcs in 1993-'94 season
and 30 seconds in 2015.

No shot clock in HS basketball. Started in the NBA in the '50s.

Remember Eisenhower vs Davis in a district game in I believe
1963? Great game. Eisenhower was not supposed to win but did by
stalling!

Re: The Play

To: David RIVERS ('65)

My husband and I went to see the play last Sunday afternoon.
First time I've been to see a play. There are times that it
seems far away to go to Richland from Kennewick. Anyway, I
really enjoyed it. Terry DAVIS Knox ('65) was really funny, as
were the rest of the cast. Actually, saw 4 other girls from my
sub division where we live.

about finished sprucing up the front yard. Loving Spring!

Lynn-Marie, The only shot clock in our day was in the NBA. When
girls started playing full court 5 on 5 they had a shot clock.
I'm not sure of exactly when they added the shot clock to the
mens' college and high school games. Sorry.
