Re: Laura Dean KIRBY Armstrong ('55-RIP)

Laura Dean and I shared our writing with each other for many
years. When I taught creative writing on the old Richland CBC
campus (beside the Richland Public Library), she joined my
class. She laid her soul bare, as good writers do. No one wrote
finer poetry than Laura Dean. She also wrote thought-provoking
essays, and was in the process of revising a novel when her
physical nemeses, congestive heart failure and COPD, took her
down. She was a warm-hearted and dear friend... irreplaceable!
