Re: uh oh

Oh my as a good friend of mine from the class of '63 would
say... it seems as though I may have said some unkind things
in one of my posts... if so, I am sorry... I don't normally MF
someone unless I am facing them... if ya can't take the heat
and all that... also, Denis SULLIVAN ('62), I did not mean to
give the impression that our home town was a den of muggers,
thugs and thieves... only that when you and I were in school,
there was one whole murder in our little town. I know that many
of my and probably your friends have carry permits and go
nowhere, just as I, unarmed. I do not fly into states where I
would get arrested for the gun in my luggage... I don't avoid
the states, I just don't fly into them (or out)... I visit our
home town as often as I can and am thrilled each time... Now,
I know that I can be abrasive... our Bomber-b-day Babe has
reminded me of it more than once and on several occasions she
has made me see that I was unintentionally unkind (I hope
unintentionally)... lately, she even said "I agree with you for
once"... now I do recall her agreeing with me more than that
one time, but she is kind of my Jimminy Cricket though she
is a Bomber-babe through and though and I still swoon when I
remember her from school... (ok, I swoon for her more than
that)... It was funny, this morning (yesterday) Curt DONAHUE
('54) wrote about temptation... all kinds of temptation (if you
are confused, it is in his Devotional for Laymen)... Since I
have been reading his book he has become a total inspiration to
me... and today he explained that crappy thoughts sneaking into
one's mind are normal... just don't dwell on them... for icing
on the cake the Kat was a heckofa hot rodder in his day (and
maybe to this day). So if I was a dolt, I am sorry... .but
what I'm here for is HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Anita KOLB ('64) on your
special day, March 31, 2018!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
