Hello, Bomber Friends!

Re: It's a Wonderful Life

I attended with my cousins and highly recommend this great
production! Michael Thomas (son of Larry BRACKENBUSH ('58)
and Barbara SESLAR Brackenbush ('60), acted his role to
perfection. Our own Terence Knox, aka Terry DAVIS ('65) was
the angel who kept "George Bailey" (Michael Thomas) from
committing suicide when Bedford Falls' bank was failing.
Terry won his wings by showing Michael the misfortunes that
would have happened if Michael had never been born. A
talented cast played several roles apiece, including
Christmas song-leading (with audience participation) and
constant sound effects. Applause, laughter, and good humor
lifted our spirits.

I remember that cheerful young man weaving from side to side
on his scooter. He called out to everyone he passed... "Hey
Hey, ho ho!"

Re: Maren's Tumble

What a relief to know Maren's recovery from her tumble
downstairs is progressing nicely without bruises! I still
have bruises from my easy fall across the room on soft
carpet.

Bomber cheers,

Re: $$ for SS

Maren, My $$ for SS will be in t he mail in a day or two
(check is written). Weather report has snowflakes and talk of
sleet on tomorrow so may wait til Wednesday. Temps are not
bad today but will plunge with this front - Tuesday night
will be frigid.

Re: Gmail

Sandstorm seems to be on a roll lately and has gone to that
**** place.

[Yes, my Sandstorm has gone to SPAM the
first 8 of 9 days in December. -Maren]

Re: Big Day

Is everyone ready for the big day? I know it is hard for
many. My sister will be missing her daughter (who was the
same age as my daughter).

Re: Daily Sandstorm

Maren, Sure do look forward to reading the SS with my cereal
each morning (orange juice, not coffee with it). Thanks for
all you do.

Re: Bomber Boys' Basketball

The basketball season for Richland opened on Friday for the
boys with the team travelling to Spokane to play Lewis and
Clark. Richland won 67-66. Saturday evening Central Valley
travelled to Richland where the Bombers beat Central Valley
60-57.

The next game will be at Dawald Gym on Tuesday, December 10,
where Richland will play Coeur d'Alene.

Re: It's Prom Time

To: All Bombers

I think I have the "other" article on Sonny but it will take
sometime to find it.

The two images accompanying this post contain names of former
Columbia High students from the 1960 prom season.

[Anybody remember who the King and Queen were?

I'm glad folks enjoy what I send along and very appreciative
of Maren for reducing the large images I send so they fit.
Anyone who would like the large version of any let me know.
