The sales of Paul Beardsley's "History of Richland 1943-1968"
book at The Octopus' Garden in Richland (the only, presently
active vendor of Paul's book due to COVID) are going briskly.
They do not normally do a mail-order business on any of their
wares, but for this item only, will accept phone orders with
credit card. Check out the above link to look at some sample
pages. The book is now in its 3rd Printing by BRMA.

Some interesting facts about The Octopus' Garden. The owner,
Gus Sato, is a Richland native and was almost a Bomber (he
started High School, as a Freshman, the first year Hanford
High School opened). He opened his first store in the Uptown
in 1976 and moved to his present location (1327 Geo. Wash.
Way, the old A&Z Specialties store) about 10 years later.
While selling greeting cards from small publishers and fun
gift items to locals has long been his main stock in trade,
Gus has been a long time supporter of the National Park (MAPR)
and BRMA. Other MAPR/BRMA items that he carries are T Shirts,
caps, magnets, and several Hanford related books.
