Here's hoping to be a 5th person submitting.

A very "Happy Birthday!" to fellow classmate Phil GANT ('54);
and a "Happy Anniversary!" to Jimbeaux ('63) and the Forever
Young and Lovely Miss Nancy ('65).

Oh, yeah, "Happy New Year!" to one and all. Be safe out there.

Tim SMYTH ('62) asked about Carlton Cadwell. I ran into him at
a neurology medical convention maybe 30 years ago or so. He and
his brother John founded a company in Kennewick called Cadwell
Industries that made electromyography devices. From what I can
tell from Google, he may still be there. Check out his company
and you can see a photo of him in 1979 and again in 2019.

I don't recall boarding a bus to evacuate but that certainly
could have happened. I do remember there were evacuation routes
set up but don't think I ever took them. I do remember that we
occasionally went out into the main hall at Spalding and laid
on the floor against the wall with our hands over our necks.
That would surely have kept us safe!!!!

I want to take a minute to remember our middle sister Janice
"Beardsley, Moe" Detrick's heavenly 76th birthday on Wednesday,
December 29th. She always hated that her birthday was so close
to Christmas. She said Mom just took one of her Christmas
presents from under the tree and put birthday wrapping paper on
it. I'm sure Mom wouldn't do that but we didn't try to disabuse
Janice of that thought. Sure do miss that crazy, funny, loving
and infuriating sister.

Looking forward to joining with our classmates of Class of '62
for our 60 year reunion in September 2022. If you haven't
gotten any info on it, please email me and I will send it to you.

I also want to take a minute to wish all of you out in
Bomberland across the world the very best for the new year. I
pray that 2022 treats you and yours gently and you remain well
and healthy. I am ready for life to return to "normal" but the
definition of that seems to have changed in the last couple of
years.

-Paula BEARDSLEY Glenn ('62) ~ Sitting in very cold Richland
(17°) with a bit of snow on the ground and more to come
so will keep my buggy in the carport and let someone else
deliver groceries to me this time.

I'm enjoying this week at my daughter's. So good to be with
her, her husband, and two grandkids (one grown). Also my son
(my driver down I-40 between towns. It's warm - 70s) here and
will be all week. Really strange and not good to have warm
moist air this time of year as recent terrible storms show.

My sister (in Kennewick) said it will be in the 20s for a high
(if it isn't already). Hope they don't send that down here!

I thought for sure I had a line on locating Pearl DROTTS ('64).
Not to be, I was thinking of a relation to Cecil Drott, former
100 Area worker. Interesting to have such similar names Drott /
Drotts. I think I've confused these last names before.
