Noticed on the ol' Bomber calendar that it is Harold KENITZER's ('54)
birthday [2/10}. If he's really nice to Marla Jo LOWMAN Kenitzer ('55) it
would be safe to wish him a "Happy Birthday" If not, all bets are off.

Happy birthday to brother John ('66) on February 6th, and Vicki MOSLEY
Cole ('66) on Valentine's Day. You two take such good care of all of us,
and it's really appreciated. Taking care of us is radically different than
it was when all of us took care of you, Johnny. It wasn't easy for you to
be mothered and smothered (Sometimes almost literally. Ha) You two are the
best. You take care of everyone around you, friends and relatives. So,
celebrate your birthdays, and know that you are much loved.

Your Sisters

I was very interested to read about Terry DAVIS Knox' ('65) fame
with his new movie.

It's a wonder he was able to complete it during our pandemic!! So glad
we are starting to ease some lockdown restrictions!!

We've been in a deep freeze for almost a week now, but we're slowly
digging out. We made it to church this morning.

Greetings to all!! I had a slight case of china virus last month, but with
Ivermectin our ER doctor prescribed, I feel my old self again.

Our warm weather the past few days here in Richland has finally melted all
of the snow in my yard. Most has been gone from the lawn, but the piles
remaining from shoveling the driveway seemed to want to linger longer,
especially those that are in shade for most of the day. Now my gravel
along the side of the house is turning green with tiny weeds. I also saw
daffodil bulbs pushing up the first stems in some of my beds. I won't be
able to do a hard prune of my roses next month as is my usual plan.

Next week (16th) I am having an implant in my spine to control the pain
that can no longer be addressed by injections. It will mean 3 months of
limited movement until my body heals around the probes. I hope it works as
it is my last option to try to live a relatively normal life.

Re: HANFORD WORKERS

To: All Bombers Going thru my files again looking for Hanford workers.
Photos of 234-5Z process operators in what is considered backside,
awarding of the million safe work hours plaque, Laboratorian pipetting low
activity solution unto stainless steel planchets, nasal irrigation to
remove contamination more commonly known as "the hose up the nose" (we
don't do that anymore), tools used for reactor maintenance, don't know
which reactor, front face of K reactor looks like process tube maintenance
and lastly K Basin cleanup crew late '60s using chicken wire to accomplish
the task.
