DeWayne, 48, of Burbank passed away Friday, March 6, 1998, at Our Lady of Lourdes Health Center. He was born on November 23, 1949, in Yakima to Lawrence O. and Eunice L. Hetrick. He lived in the Tri-Cities for 48 years.

He worked as a manager at the Chevron Food Mart and as an employee at the Tri-City Herald in Circulation for 11 years. He was in the Army Military Police in Germany and in Vietnam. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Burbank.

DeWayne is survived by his wife, Laura; sons, DeWayne Lee Hetrick, Jr. and Brian Kenneth Hetrick; parents, Lawrence and Eunice Hetrick; brothers: Lawrence Hetrick, Jr. ('63), Pat Hetrick, Charles Hetrick ('64), Don ('65) (Becky) Hetrick and Ron ('72) (Janet) Hetrick; sisters: Phronsie Hetrick (Harvey) Carr, Elizabeth ('66) Hetrick (James); and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

A Graveside Service was held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 11, 1998. A Memorial Service followed at the First Baptist Church of Burbank.
