Roger Gress - Jr. Portrait

Roger Gress ~ recent

On June 22, 2014, we lost a very special man, Roger Jay Gress, Jr. is now up in heaven with his grandparents and his uncle. Roger was born August 30, 1967 and was 46 years old.

Roger was a very giving, fun, loving, exuberant individual who loved life, his family and his animals. Roger was a loving son, father, brother, and grandfather.

He is survived by his parents; Roger ('61) and Sharon Curtis ('63) Gress, his siblings Sheila ('81), Lesa ('85), Mike ('87), and Christy ('89); his children Whitney and Michael Dale; his loving grandson Raider; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Desaree, Makayla, Carissa, Brandon, Danielle, and Denver, AND his best friend, Bo Bo, his precious dog.

He was employed at Metal Fab of West Richland and was an amazing welder and worked on several projects that he was proud of in the Tri-Cities, like the sun awning at GESA Stadium. He worked there for several years and will be truly missed.

Roger loved riding his Harley, going to car shows with his dad, riding horses and being with friends and family. He was an avid Mopar fan and we have many memories of his 1968 and 1969 Road Runners.

He graduated from Richland High School in 1986 and lived in Benton City.

He was a man with a generous loving heart who always put his family first.

Interment will be 2pm Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Sunset Gardens, 915 By-Pass Highway.
