On October 17, 2015, Jim, age 61, passed into eternity, with his close friend, Vicki Johnson at his side. He was a resident of Richland. He was born to Fred Jackson Harless and Dorothy Teel Harless in Kennewick on January 9, 1954.

He attended grade school in Kennewick and Junior High and High School in Richland graduating from Richland's Columbia High School in 1973.

Jim was a nurse, paramedic, and volunteer firefighter with Benton County Fire Protection District 2, scuba dive instructor, ski patrolman at White Pass, and a musician.

He was married to Darla Southern for 27 years, and remained friends after their divorce. He was a kind person, and a friend of any dog or cat he ever met.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and nephew Kevin Adams.

He is survived by his sister, Ella Harless Adams, a niece, Anna Adams, nephews Wally Adams and John Adams, several cousins, and many friends.

He will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A memorial will be announced at a later date.
