Marjie Kingsley Moberg - Funeral Notice

 
Marjie Kingsley Moberg passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at
Puget Sound Healthcare Center. She was born July 18, 1928 in Denver, Colorado
to James Edwin and Mary Gelvin Kingsley. She lived in Colorado until moving to
Richland, Washington in the 1940s. She graduated from Columbia High School in
Richland in 1946. She attended Eastern Washington State College and Colorado
Teacher's College in Greeley, Colorado, and graduated with a B.S. degree in
Education. She taught in the Richland Public Schools during the 1950s and
1960s. She married Dale R. Moberg in 1952. They moved with their family to
Olympia, Washington in 1974. She made many friends through bridge clubs in the
area and the Steamers Orthopedic Guild. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Dale, and by her son, Eric T. Moberg. Marjie is survived by her two
daughters, Paula Bigelow (Paul), of Tumwater, and Karis Moberg (Leonard
Smith), of Port Ludlow, Washington; Paula and Paul's two children, Drew and
Gracee, of Tumwater; her sister, Mary Evelyn Spradlin, of Plano, Texas; and
many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services for Marjie will be held on
Saturday, November 22, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. in the Olympic Memorial Gardens,
Mills & Mills Funeral Chapel, 5724 Littlerock Road S.W., Tumwater, Washington.
A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following at the
home of Paula and Paul Bigelow.
