ESTELLE VICTORIA "STELLA" BELLANDE BROWNING ~ Class of 1953
June 9, 1935 - May 17, 2016

Stella was born June 9, 1935, to Louis and Florence Bellande in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She passed away May 17, 2016.

Her family moved to Richland in 1944. She graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1953. She married George Browning in March of 1954.

She retired from GTE Sales. Stella loved playing pinochle, bingo, dominoes and enjoyed all of the friends she made playing. Stella loved to attend parties and going to Dust Devil games.

Stella is preceded in death by her husband George ('51) and her older brother Thomas Louis Bellande ('50).

She is survived by her daughters Vickie Oord (Ray) and Linda Bates (Art); grandsons Ryan and Nic (Pam); great granddaughter Katelin; and her younger brother Ralph Harold Bellande.

Special Thanks to all the staff at Kadlec who cared for Stella this past year. She valued their friendships.
