KEITH MYRON KRISHER ~ Class of 1977
May 8, 1959 - January 17, 2016

Keith Krisher - 1977 - Sr. Portrait ~~ Keith Krisher ~ recent

Keith, 56, passed away suddenly on January 17, 2016, following a massive heart attack. He was born in Renton, Washington, to Anita Jo Shoop Krisher and Myron Gladwyn Krisher.

He was a 1977 graduate from Richland's Columbia High School, and went on to complete four years in the electrical apprenticeship through IBEW local 112 in 1980. He continued his career as a journeyman electrician with a license in Oregon and Washington. He joined local 77 in 2005 when he became a maintenance electrician at Battelle.

He married his one and only love, Debbie, in 1979 when they began their beautiful fulfilling life in Benton City, raising their son Cody and daughter Cassie.

Keith spent much of his life involved in rodeo, raising farm animals and working hard for his family. As the years passed by, Keith and his wife became members of the Old Timers Rodeo club and later dropped that hobby to become avid mediocre golfing partners. They spent many weekends away in their trailer golfing with friends, riding bikes and loving life. Perhaps most importantly though, was spending as much quality time with their kids and grandkids as time allowed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Myron Krisher ('51), his mother, Anita Shoop Krisher, and his father-in-law Larry Hunt.

Keith is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debbie; children: Cody (Kelli Jo) and Cassie (Aaron); Grandchildren: Triniti Jo, Branton Cody, Easton Daniel, and Logan Keith; siblings: Kay Lawson ('79) (Pat) and Kraig Krisher (Debbi); brother-in-law Doug Hunt (Liz Engelke); mother-in-law Jeanette Hunt; nieces and nephews he loved very much.

Services were held January 22, 2016, at Einan’s at Sunset Event Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to two of Keith’s favorite organizations:
Raise for Rowyn, P.O. Box 631, Tenino, WA 98589
and Knights of Columbus, 2500 Chester Rd., Richland, WA 99354
