Lavonne was born June 28, 1945, in Breckenridge, North Dakota, to Gordon and Dorothy Neitzel and passed away March 20, 2016, in Kennewick.

She graduated from Columbia High School in 1964 and worked for Pichel Yearbooks, Tri-City Herald and K-Mart.

Lavonne married Roy Rube on May 10, 1968, making their home in Kennewick. Lavonne enjoyed baking, arts and crafts, Seattle Mariners, Seahawks, playing casino games and spending time with family.

Lavonne is preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years Roy; her parents Gordon and Dorothy; twin brothers Glen ('62) and Gail ('63); and sister Gloria Neitzel Haugen ('59).

She is survived by her daughter Teresa Goldman (Brad); son Steven Roy; two grandsons Greg and Andrew; and sister-in-law Yvonne Benjamin Neitzel ('62).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Events at Sunset. Graveside followed at Sunset Gardens.
